It’s NOT night yet!

A few years ago, an amazing sermon was preached “It’s not night yet”. It came from the scripture John 9:4 “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh when no man can work”. The bishop was admonishing God’s children to continue on in doing well because the time will come when all our works must cease.

In these last and evil days, it’s imperative that we put our best foot forward. Be mindful that good Christian habits and lifestyle should be nourished and implemented in the home first. Secondly, make sure that you are consistent with God, praying in and out of season and that you are trusting his will and his way.  Also, I truly believe that an effective Christian is one who can rightfully divide the word of truth.

It may sound cliché, but life is really short. Further, I also believe that we are living in the last days. I know to some, this may sound crazy and far fetched, but the world is really ending. We’ve seen enough signs to believe that something has shifted in the spirit and natural realm.

Like you, I really battle with topics like this one, but today I feel compelled to put it out there.  Whether you believe it or not all mankind will die and go to an eternal dwelling place.  Some will wake up to everlasting joy in heaven and others will burn in a lake of fire for eternity. The bible says that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him will not perish, but shall have eternal life. To reject God’s offer of love and eternal life is the most tragic decision you can make in your lifetime.

There are also many that have professed that they are on their way to heaven, but sadly they will find themselves in hell with the devil. Solely because they have truly never made Jesus Lord in their heart. Oddly enough some of the people that we thought were not worthy to receive eternal life will be in heaven. Jesus said to the thief on the cross, “This day you shall be with me in paradise.” This let’s me know that God judges righteously.

Please accept Christ offer of salvation today, because tomorrow might be too late. If you are a beliver in Christ Jesus then continue in well doing.
