You ever consider embarking on a new journey in your life in a completely different direction and then you receive a sign? It was just a consideration but is this a coincidence? Is it fate? Then you receive another and another sign. God has been sending me signs to bring people together. So I decided there is no better time than the present to give my best effort in building a Black Women Leadership Community that grows, supports and builds with each other. I think it’s necessary to have this community to encourage and motivate one another. It’s also a means of creating partnerships and so much more!
If you’ve read some of my previous posts, I speak a lot on women supporting women. I’ve personally had mentors and know that having a community of support makes a difference in both your professional and personal life. Yes, of course you can achieve success on your own. But a community of women offers more ideas, more opportunities and potentially more growth. That can lead to greater success. I want to be more than comfortable financially. But instead in a financial space that has no limitations. Don’t you? Who wants to struggle or just get by? No one says everyone!
I am a successful fashion boutique owner and a consultant for several businesses. But that hasn’t stopped me. I’m determined to continue to build my brand. I’m constantly open to partnering and taking on new business ventures. And I do, because only growth can lead me to my goal of wealth. I don’t want to be rich. I want to have wealth to pass down. Generational wealth that will take care of my kids and their kids and their kids and so on. And I also want that for all those women in my community.
