Holiday Indulgence! Quick And Easy Cocktail/Mocktail Recipes For You To Enjoy And Share!

It’s that time of year again to celebrate and cheer with family and friends. And although it may be through a virtual platform, you can still enjoy this holiday season. 2020 definitely has not been a year of many celebrations as I’m used to. I usually go out and have drinks with my friends often. That came to a sudden halt this year. This pandemic has definitely made me find more creative ways to connect from a distance. That will include socializing this upcoming holiday probably from my home. Of the many ways, you can’t go wrong with a really good cocktail. I’m sharing some that I will be trying in the coming weeks. I came across so many amazing recipes and am looking forward to toasting with those I love soon. I have my non-alcoholic drinkers covered too!

Coconut Vanilla Bellini

You’ll need one bottle of Prosecco, sixteen ounces of coconut juice blend, 1/4 cup white sanding sugar, two tablespoons of granulated sugar and one vanilla bean. To prepare combine the sanding sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla bean. Coat the rim of your glasses with some frosting or marshmallow fluff and then dip your rims in the mixture. Next pour two ounces of coconut juice blend in your glass and fill the remainder with Prosecco. Then stir and drink up!

Raspberry Pomegranate Champagne Cocktail

You’ll need eight tablespoons of pomegranate juice, one pint of raspberry sorbet, four tablespoons of pomegranate seeds, chilled champagne and straws. To prepare freeze your glasses until their frosty. Then add two 2 tablespoons of pomegranate juice to the bottom of each glass. Then add a few small scoops of the raspberry sorbet and 1 tablespoon of pomegranate seeds to each glass. Top off with your chilled champagne. Note, you should have plenty of sorbet left for several glasses, so top off as you wish!

Substitute the champagne with sparkling apple cider to make this a non-alcoholic version everyone can enjoy including the kids!

Christmas Mimosas Punch

You’ll need two bottle of chilled champagne, two cups of cranberry juice, two cups of orange pineapple juice and sliced limes and frozen cranberries (optional). To prepare combine champagne and the juices. Then add your sliced limes and frozen cranberries. Super simple and you’re ready to serve! Who doesn’t love a good mimosa with their Christmas brunch!

You can also make this a mocktail! Substitute with lemon-lime soda. You’ll still have that gorgeous drink to sip and slay with!

White Russian Eggnog

You’ll need three ounces of eggnog, one ounce of Kahlua Liquor, one ounce of peppermint vodka, ice cubes and a peppermint or cinnamon stick. To prepare fill your glass halfway with ice cubes. Then pour the ingredients into a shaker if you have one handy to combine. Then pour the mixture over the ice and stir it up. Garnish with your peppermint or cinnamon stick and indulge in the flavors. You can also make a blended version of this drink that will be creamy. Just put your ingredients into a blender. Then add whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon or crushed candy canes. Sounds so delicious!

Non-Alcoholic Holiday Sangria

You’ll need sparkling red grape juice, brewed tea (try using one that has orange and sweet spices in it), cranberry juice, sliced oranges, fresh cranberries, cinnamon sticks, pomegranate seeds, cubed green apples and ice of course. Simply mix the juices and tea. Then add the ice and fruit. Lastly, garnish with a cinnamon stick to give it a beautiful holiday look!

These are just a few drinks that I’m considering creating over the holidays. I can’t wait to savor in all those flavors and goodness. As an added touch, you could use melted white chocolate and crushed peppermint to make the rims of your glasses more festive! Get the conversation going!
