FROZEN SMORES ANYONE? SO MANY AMAZING FAMILY SUMMER TREATS TO MAKE!

Have you ever tried Frozen Smores before? This is definitely a favorite summer treat at my house. It’s the perfect spin on a classic campfire treat, that you can have any time this summer. Just add some graham crackers, chocolate pudding, milk, marshmallow fluff and vanilla ice cream to your shopping list next time you’re at the grocery store. A 9×13 pan is usually good for this. So be sure to make room in your freezer too!

Raspberry Lemonade Berry Popsicles are another hit with the kids. It’s super simple too. All you need is an ice tray, raspberry lemonade (or your preferred juice), fresh fruit like strawberries sliced and some blueberries and popsicle sticks. Make sure you add the fruit first to the tray. To make it fun, use a fun shaped ice tray or a popsicle mold tray if you have one. Then freeze overnight and enjoy!

You could also make an adult version of this popsicle adding your favorite adult beverage to the mix! For me, I like to mix Raspberry Lemonade, Summer Watermelon Ciroc, Welch’s Passion Fruit and sliced strawberries. These popsicles are on point!

Back to the kid friendly treats. Have you ever heard of Banana Splits on a Stick? Usually when you think of a banana split, you think of ice cream. But no ice cream needed for this recipe. Including fruit is always the perfect summer snack to add a healthy touch, plus there are so many options. You’ll need strawberries, bananas, pineapples, chocolate to dip (chocolate melts or chips), chopped nuts (optional) and popsicle sticks. Simply chop your fruit into equal size pieces and place one of each fruit on a stick and freeze for about 10 minutes. Then melt your chocolate (microwave for about 30 seconds, check and continue as needed). Once ready, take your fruit sticks and dip away! You could make some with nuts and some without. Sprinkle as preferred! Make sure you lay your finished splits on parchment/wax paper or even foil, so they can settle. It’ll be worth the wait!

To make it even more kid approved, consider adding a marshmallow to the banana split sticks and dip with chocolate, nuts or even rainbow sprinkles!

Lastly, I wanted to share another yummy classic with a twist. Watermelon Rice Krispie Treats not only taste good but they have a fun summer look too! The ingredients you’ll need are green and red (or pink) food coloring, marshmallows, butter, chocolate chips and rice krispies of course! The extras are a sauce pan, a round pan (spray with non-cooking spray) and a pizza cutter to make your creation. Popsicle sticks are optional but nothing says summer like food on a stick!
