1 Thessalonians 5:18 states “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”. Whatever state you’re in this season, give God thanks. If you’re not able to spend the holidays with your loved ones, thank God, you’re alive and everyone is well. Spend the holidays with the ones you love and the ones that love you. Remember that true love is not in blood but in spirit. Let the Lord guide you to true friends that will value you and treat you how you desire. Life may not be what you expected or want but please know that chance and opportunity comes to everyone so take advantage of what comes your way and take full charge in gaining the life you desire. Bishop preached that God will help those that help themselves. I truly believe that because I’m a witness of it. God has helped me in many ways and I can testify of his goodness. I can attest that my lack is not because of God but it’s because of the decisions I’ve made. The best decisions are the ones that have your best interest at heart.
This year, I attended six homegoing service, yes SIX!!! I won’t even let my lips or heart complain. Even if I was found at the bottom of the valley or the top of the hill I wont complain. Also, even if things don’t turn out as I desire, I’ll still give God praise. The Lord is good and I’m grateful to be alive. I am grateful that God favored me and mine. Because I know that all things work according to his perfect will. I say my prayers, I trust God, I keep the faith and I do what I can and I depend on God to grant the increase. What more can we ask God for? Be grateful! The best thing you can do for your loved ones that passed on to glory is to LIVE! They wouldn’t want anything less, so live this holiday season and live more abundantly. May God comfort the hearts of everyone that is sick, mourning and depressed. May his Holy Spirit guide every footstep into peace, love and good-will towards each other.
Have a safe, blessed and prosperous holiday season. As the year ends give God praise for all that transpired and all that will come. Truly, the best is yet to come for those that believe.
