Time Is Now!

Honestly, we all wish we had enough time in the day to complete all the things that we dream about. However, in reality, we are not promised the next 24 hours of life. We have to use every single second as if it were our last. Don’t put things off for tomorrow when it could be done today.

As I posted last week many people are passing away unexpectedly. We can only pray that God gives us time to do the things we desire. I have a to-do list of things I need to accomplish and I keep reminding myself that “The time is now”. I am not putting off anything for tomorrow that I can do today.   My greatest desire is to see heaven one day and I know without a shadow of a doubt that God will grant me entrance. How many of us can say that?

Well, the time is now to get your soul right with God. Pray to your heavenly Father and thank him for the life you have, seek him for his will over your life and forgive those that have done you wrong.  Some people think that lavish living is the correct way to spend your life, but you are wrong. One of my favorite quotes by Ralph Waldo Emerson sums it up better, “ The purpose of life is not to be happy, it is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” Make sure that everything you do and say will leave a lasting legacy for those coming behind you. To all my parents;  make provision for your children so after you are gone, they’ll be alright.

Now is the time to love on the ones that you have because death is knocking at all of our doors and we do not always get the opportunity to say goodbye.  Therefore take every departure from your friend or family member as your last one.  Never assume that you have tomorrow. Today is the day to take the trip you’ve wanted to go on, make amends with an old friend or family member and start a business or a new career, etc.  Trust that it will all work together for good.
