In Everything Give Thanks

The scriptures states in Thessalonians 5:8 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”. Therefore, as we approach the holidays I want you to stay encouraged, joyful and focused. Remember God is very attentive to his children, If you can rise above your emotions God is faithful to remember your situation and bring you to the place of victory.  Joy isn’t predicated on your situation, but on your willingness to believe and trust God. I need you to stay focused because the best is yet to come.  Yes,  life does have its shares of ups and downs, but know that better days are ahead.

Remember that this year’s holiday celebration is difficult for those who have lost loved ones. If you are not part of the bereavement assembly, then you are even more blessed! If you are battling with pain and hurt this holiday season because of the loss of a loved one I beg you to  rely on God’s strength in this season.  You may wonder how the loss of a love one can be part of God’s plan, but trust him to unfold his marvelous design for your life. No matter where we find ourselves lets celebrate our holidays with our loved ones. Like you I am hurting over all the people that have died this year.  Do your very best to press forward and be a blessing to yourself and others.

It’s cliché to say life is short, but it’s true, so let’s promise to be there for others and be kind to ourselves in the process.  Have a blessed holiday season and know that my prayer go out to each and every one of you.
