My salvation is not predicated on your opinion of me

There are no perfect Christians on the face of this earth. The bible tells us that Jesus was the only person on earth without any sin. God is not looking for perfect people he is looking for obedient ones. God wants people that will trust his way and his plan despite their own desires. When people see Christians acting out of character they jump for the chance to condemn them.

How many times have you heard the term “fake Christians” or “they need to go sleep at the altar.” God knows that the flesh is weak, but his spirit dwelling within us is willing.  The spirit of God is always willing to love the unlovable, withstand the persecution, and demonstrate the love of Christ to everyone.   The bible says to be angry but sin not.  In other words, don’t allow your anger to cause you to retaliate against those who offended you.

Take two thoughts into consideration; as long as a Christian remains in this fleshly body they will have to struggle to stay on course.  Believers must choose daily to follow Christ.  To be honest, some days we do act the part, but there are moments of failure.

Those of you stone throwers, need to go put down your rock and remember what Jesus said, Ye without sin cast the first stone.  You cannot condemn anybody because you fall short yourself. I am so glad that God knows the road that we take and when we are tried we shall come forth as pure gold.

Don’t let anyone make you doubt or question your salvation.  Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Your past will not dictate your future and the opinions of your haters means nothing.  Let the Lord fight your battles then you’ll walk away from the battleground with the victory.

2 Corinthians 5:17 states, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
