With so much going on in the world today it is easy to get lost amongst the chaos, but I want to remind you this day to trust God. God is aware of everything going on in the world. The Bible tells us that God is omniscient. He knows everything. He knows things before they happen. From the Trump administration to the smallest detail of your life, you can trust God with everything. God knew what you would face one day, so he gave you his holy spirit to guide you. The Holy Spirit will help you to overcome this world, but you have to be a wise builder and build your life on his word.
The book of James tells us to become a doer of the word and not hearers only. Hearing and obeying God is the key to life. We are living in the last days, therefore, it’s imperative to build a relationship with God because only God can keep you in the midst of a storm. Psalm 118: 8 states “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man”.
I understand if you’re looking to your significant other, a friend or a parent for help, but let me declare to you that you Can Trust God. God counsels us to not lean on our own understanding but to acknowledge him in all our ways and he will direct our path.
God’s word will keep you alive. It will keep you from falling victim to drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual pleasures, etc. God will fill every void and longing in your heart. When Jesus ascended back to the Father he sent the Holy Spirit. Another name for him is the comforter, and he is available to you today. If you have tried everything else and if you have done all that you can do yet nothing has worked, PLEASE try the Lord. Give the Lord a yes and let him transform your mind and life. Accept him as your personal savior now, because It’s getting worse on these streets and it’s going to worsen soon, remember I told you!
To all my readers, my prayer is that you will live a saved life and be filled with God’s Holy Spirit. I had my time in the world and believe me when I tell you there is no better feeling than to be in covenant with Jesus Christ our Savior. Don’t get fooled. Your way might seem right, but in the end, it will lead to destruction.
