Check your mental health

Can we be honest with ourselves? Life is tough and unfortunately, it’s getting tougher every day. Therefore, while life runs its course we must be determined to run even faster. Never forget that a healthy and joyful life is the key to living. Live with expectation because at any time everything you have ever desired or wanted could be yours.

Mental health has been swept under the rug for too long, but today let’s face it for ourselves and those around us that battle. Let me ask you a question, what is a healthy mind? Philippian 2: 5 states “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”.  This scripture clearly indicates that we can have the mind of Christ Jesus.  The mind of Christ is one that is healed, loving, peaceful, and strong. Jesus said I overcame the world, so you can too.

Readers believe in yourself and believe in the name of Jesus that he can heal your mind, but you must confess that there is a problem.

Don’t be afraid to seek counseling from your Pastor or a mental health professional. Don’t isolate yourself because that is a trick of the enemy. He wants you to feel alone.  If you allow him to gain a foothold in your mind he will turn it into a playground. He’ll have demons swinging on monkey bars, wicked spirits on slides and legions waiting in line to play with your mind.  The bible counters his attacks and tells us that if we resist the enemy, he will flee.  At some point in life, all of us have battled with some form of mental instability.  The key is to not be ashamed of it but to seek help.  There are people that love you and need you to be well.

You do not have to live in pain, sadness, and despair.  Today you can walk in complete healing and victory. Sincerely ask God to help you and trust him to do it.

I pray for those reading this blog who are suffering from mental illness, may God cover your mind under the precious blood of his son Jesus and give you a brand-new outlook on life. Even those around us that appear strong can fall victim to mental illness, call and check on those who you love. Speak to your children and make sure that all is well in their world.
