I hate the constant comparing amongst women so much I delete people off my social media. It’s so Katty!
Men hardly ever compare who do what better and if they do no one notices.
The Business World alone is competitive but why so secretive. Why not help others reach their goals if they’re willing to put in the work. I have witnessed female business owners put other females down, or tried to block their blessings. Some Female Business owners will friend you to get info or products/services from you but will never connect you to their people. I know that because it happened to me several times.
I strongly believe “can’t nobody stop your shine or growth”, if they aren’t willing to help you connect go around them. It may take some time but it will be well worth it. The younger generation feels their Elders are holding information from them and aren’t willing to put them on to information and connections especially when it comes to business.
I personally believe that everyone needs to put in WORK and not have it handed over on a silver platter. Experience builds your Foundation that’s needed to grow. However, I do share information with anyone with potential to grow as a business.
A few things to get you started…
- If you’re trying to make a business connection get in that person dm, inbox or email. Let them know who you are 3 sentences the most.
- Attend Community Events
- Attend Business Conferences and Empowerment Events
- Collaborate with people on your level
- Remember You are your only Competition
